Spring Time!
Harvest time has begun in the Hills Montessori Food Forest.

The children at Hills Montessori enjoyed participating in a new tasting experience this week as we showed them how to use the Banana blossom to make Banana blossom pancakes.

Following on from our visit from the elders last term, the outdoor classroom has been exploring Darug words with the children.

Hills Montessori is very thankful to the elders from the Wolkara Elders Group in Blacktown for visiting us yesterday and sharing information about First Nations Culture with us.

The Cockatiels class at Hills Montessori embraced abstract art inspired by Kandinsky, exploring colours and shapes to express feelings. Through water paints and contrasting papers, children created vibrant artworks reflecting their artistic journey.

Hills Montessori's Open Day on 6th April 2024 welcomed 35 families to explore our nurturing environment and innovative programs. We celebrate each child's unique journey towards becoming self-motivated, independent learners.

Hills Montessori celebrated Harmony Day by transforming the school into a vibrant cultural experience, showcasing diverse heritage through activities and displays from around the world. Children engaged in food tasting, traditional costumes, and performances, fostering inclusivity and respect.

Hills Montessori kicked off 2024 with a vibrant Dinos & Rainbows themed Disco, bringing together children, families, and staff for a night of fun. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers for making this event a success!

The Kindergarten class at Hills Montessori held a successful Kindy stall, raising over $1,000 for the Kmart Wishing Tree. Students selected gifts for children in need, showcasing their creativity and community spirit.
