Bees Wax Wraps

Teddy Bears Picnic

Hills Montessori hosted its first Teddy Bears Picnic, bringing families and staff together for a delightful morning filled with entertainment, games, and teddy-inspired treats. A heartfelt thank you to our board members for organising this memorable event!

Pets!

This fortnight at Hills Montessori, Kindy explored caring for pets and learned to approach them calmly. A special visit from Daisy the dog helped children overcome fears and engage in fun activities like playing and feeding.

Silkworms

The children at Hills Montessori excitedly observed the hatching of silkworms from eggs stored for months, eagerly feeding them fresh mulberry leaves. This hands-on experience fosters curiosity and learning about life cycles in a fun and engaging way.

Happy Birthday Maria!

At Hills Montessori, we celebrated Dr. Maria Montessori’s birthday by lighting 153 paper candles and creating doves to symbolise peace. The event fostered reflection and unity, allowing children to embrace their individuality while honouring her philosophy.
