Kindy Stall Success: Supporting the Kmart Wishing Tree

Our Kindy Stall has wrapped up for another year, and our community has once again come together in the most generous way. With two bustling mornings, excited children, and a shared commitment to giving, this year’s stall made a meaningful impact for the Kmart Wishing Tree.

Exploring Native Bees in our Outdoor Classroom

We have been learning about native bees in the outdoor classroom. The children are aware that there are lots of native bees out in the garden during this spring time and most importantly that they are stingless. They worked together to make a sign to educate the families too. Can you spot them too?

Spring Celebration

A huge thank you to one of our educators Jenni for leading our Korean Spring Celebration today. Each classroom had a turn in our amphitheater to learn more about the Korean Spring Festival, in story, song and dance and then enjoyed tasting Kimbap together!

This week, our classes celebrated the birthday of the visionary behind our philosophy with creativity, curiosity, and cake! From dressing up as Dr. Montessori to counting her age with Golden Beads, the children embraced her legacy with joy and reverence.
Teachers reflected on the privilege of continuing her work, and the classroom buzzed with gratitude and learning.

Wolkara Elders Visit

Today we had a special visit from seven Wolkara Elders from the Blacktown/Lalor Park area who spent time with our children enjoying activities together.

Pesto Pasta and Fresh Garden Salad

Today we made some delicious healthy food using fresh ingredients from our garden. It was wonderful to see all the children enthusiastically involved and many enjoyed trying something new!
