Our annual Kindy Stall was a wonderful celebration of generosity, community spirit, and child‑led giving. Over two days, our families came together to raise funds in support of the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal, helping ensure that children in need receive a special gift this festive season.
A Community Effort With Big Impact
The stall was held on Tuesday 25th November and Friday 28th November, with children and families eagerly browsing the handmade items, treats, and treasures prepared by our Kindy classes. The atmosphere was warm, busy, and full of excitement as the children proudly shared the items they had helped create.
Across the two days, our community raised an incredible $910—a truly amazing effort that reflects the heart and generosity of our preschool families.
Supporting the Cause Together
We were also delighted to welcome Sweet Tooth Sensations a local coffee cart on the Tuesday morning, offering drinks to families and contributing part of their proceeds to the Wishing Tree cause. Their support added to the festive feel of the morning and helped boost our fundraising total.
A special thank you goes to all families who visited the stall, sent their children with coins, or helped spread the word. Every contribution—big or small—helped make this event such a success.
What Happens Next
Next week, our Kindy children will visit Kmart to personally select gifts for the Wishing Tree. This experience is a meaningful part of their learning, helping them understand kindness, empathy, and the joy of giving to others.
