December was filled with joy, music, and celebration as our Kookaburras, Brolgas, Lorikeets, and Cockatiels each held their end‑of‑year concerts and family afternoon teas. Across four afternoons families gathered to enjoy the children’s performances and reflect on a year of learning, growth, and community.
A Celebration of Learning
Each class shared a unique concert program, thoughtfully created around the songs, poems, and group activities the children have loved throughout the year. These performances were a beautiful snapshot of classroom life—full of confidence, creativity, and the children’s genuine delight in sharing something special with their families.
From joyful singing to expressive actions and spoken pieces, the children shone. Their pride was unmistakable, and the warm encouragement from families made each performance even more meaningful.
A Look Back on the Year
Following the concerts, families were invited to watch a video of highlights from the year. These compilations captured moments of exploration, friendship, discovery, and everyday classroom magic—reminding us just how much the children have grown.
Sharing Afternoon Tea Together
Each celebration concluded with a relaxed afternoon tea in the playground, giving families, children, and educators a chance to connect, chat, and enjoy the final weeks of the school year together. These gatherings are always a treasured part of our end‑of‑year traditions, offering a moment to pause and appreciate the strong sense of community that surrounds our preschool.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are incredibly proud of all our children for the confidence and joy they brought to their concerts. Thank you to every family who joined us, supported the children, and helped make these afternoons so memorable. Your presence means so much to them—and to us.
As we move toward the end of the year, we look forward to celebrating more milestones together and cherishing the final moments of 2025 with our wonderful community.
