Today we were fortunate to be involved in a Korean Spring celebration that was run by Jenni one of our educators at Hills Montessori. Our children loved learning the words to the K Pop song, “Golden”, including some Korean words.
We then danced to the song before making and eating Kimbap.
Jenni tells us that Kimbap is a famous comfort food for Koreans, especially growing up. Every spring, Korean schools go on a big excursion and all the children have kimbap for lunch.
Many of the preschool children LOVED eating this treat today.
