Bees Wax Wraps – A New and Exciting Mission

This interest and knowledge started from a parent of a past student in the Lorikeets class who came in to do a demonstration of how bees wax wraps can be made at home.

This year we are hoping to make some of these for the Kindergarten X’Mas stall. It is a huge labour of love as it’s a lot of hard work to get shavings of the bees wax with a tiny vegetable peeler.

Children have started to work tirelessly on this and have shown great interest and curiosity about the whole process.

I hope families will appreciate the effort gone into creating these wraps and show your support at the Kindy Stall for a very worthy cause 🙂
