About Hills Montessori

We offer a Montessori program that is rich and varied combining the Montessori principles relating to Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Geography, Languages, Creative Experiences, Social Learning and Other Cultures. Together they are all designed to assist each child to fully develop their skills in a happy and supportive atmosphere.

The staff and parents share the responsibility of following and adhering to the Montessori philosophy and the ongoing communication between home and school which enhances this process. Hills Montessori is staffed by experienced and caring Directresses who plan programs that are based on each child’s individual needs, with a major emphasis on life skills that prepare the child for their future.

We are committed to employing, wherever possible, Directresses who hold an Association Montessori International (AMI) Diploma conducted by the AMI training Institute which Maria Montessori, herself, established.
