Hills Montessori School is committed to deliver Montessori education since its establishment in 1979.  We are a member of the New South Wales Montessori Association (www.nsw.montessori.edu.au) and a member of Montessori Australia Foundation (www.ami.org.au).

The School is licensed by DoCs (Department of Community Services), and is also a registered childcare provider with the Family Assistance Office (FAO).

We are currently offers Montessori education for the following age group:

1)    “The Under 3’s”

Children may attend the program, accompanied by a parent/carer, from the time they are walking independently and are able to carry a small tray.  This is usually between 15 to 18 months up to three years old.

2)     “3 to 6’s” for the pre-schoolers

Children are admitted into the class at approximately three years of age.  Children will attend 5 half days per week according to New South Wales Government school term, in the first 2 years.

In the child’s third year when they would otherwise be in kindergarten, the child attends 5 full days per week, which is known as the Extended Day.  The Extended Day hours are 8.30am to 2.30pm.
