Management

The Hills Montessori Society is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee, registered with the Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) under Corporations Act (2001).

The Hills Montessori Society elects a Board of Directors called the School Board composed of between 8 and 10 society members, elected annually. The Board's main functions are to oversee the management of the school and to develop and endorse policies in conjunction with the staff. The Board meets once a month at the school, to discuss all matters dealing with the school and the Society.

The Board minutes summary is published after each monthly meeting. If you have a question about school management, please direct your enquiries to the appropriate Board member. In any effective management organisation, policies, procedures and rules must be made and adhered to. Hills Montessori School is no exception. The Board is dependent on the diversity of talent within the parent body for input into the development and operation of the school.
